The Haskins Company has constructed a number of unit train load out and receiving terminals. These facilities are located in an area stretching from eastern Washington to eastern Montana and south into Wyoming and southern Idaho as well as eastern Oregon. These facilities consist of high capacity legs and conveyors feeding a multi garner bulk weigh system. 110 car unit trains can be loaded in a 10 to 12 hour window.

Ground pile systems are a great alternative for bulk storage. A bulk pile can hold from half a million bushels to two million bushels.
Asphalt pads are put down for minimal waste and easier cleanup.
Tarps are used to cover the piles while being while the grain is being stored.
A aeration system is installed under the product to create suction to hold down the tarp system so the wind does not destroy or remove it. Anemometers can be installed to activate the aeration system when the wind reaches a certain speed.

The Haskins Company constructed our first steel grain storage tank in 1950. Since that time we have constructed over 1800 steel bolted tanks and corrugated steel bins as well as concrete slip form elevators and steel flathouses.
